Bloomington, Indiana — This residential system was installed by Whole Sun Designs Inc. (WSD), a Bloomington, Indiana based photovoltaic system installer primarily serving the residential market. The mission of WSD is to empower individual businesses and homeowners to generate their own solar power with systems comprised of high-quality, locally-sourced components. These systems are installed and maintained by highly-skilled employees who have a stake in the success of the business through profit sharing and potential employee-ownership.

This installation was carefully designed by a NABCEP certified professional to maximize output on a steep, multi-faceted roof with shading concerns. This system is one of the hundreds in the Bloomington area installed by Whole Sun Designs and was the first home in the neighborhood to go solar. Since then, two other homeowners have signed contracts with WSD and are slated to be installed in Spring 2020. The homeowners also opted for an Electric Vehicle Charging port and are now driving on pure sunshine.
